Political crisis in Jharkhand continues; election on cards

Jharkhand may be headed for another spell of President's rule. Governor Syed Ahmed has recommended as much, even as the JMM leaders are camping in Delhi, looking to cobble together a majority with the Congress. Sources say the Congress is divided on the issue of forming the next government in the state with the JMM, given the latter's track record. Parties like the BJP, JVP and Jharkhand's people's party are all for President's rule and fresh elections.
