Karunanidhi to meet DMK top brass today

In the backdrop of tacit remarks from DMK supremo Karunanidhi naming Stalin as his successor in the party and rumbles in the ranks. Karunanidhi is to meet the DMK party cadre in Chennai today. Karunanidhi's eldest son and union Minister Alagiri had openly resented to hints of Stalin leading the party and that he would not accept anyone else other than his father as leader. Yesterday, Karunanidhi's daughter Kanimozhi chose to play it safe when she was asked about Stalin being chosen.
