Rajasthan: Girl raped like 'Damini'; Govt promises action

Residents of Sikar district are anxiously following the fate of a 11-year-old girl, who's battling injuries. Almost similar to those that were inflicted on the Delhi Braveheart Damini . The victim is now taken abroad for lifesaving treatment. To recount the incident, on August 20th the 11 year old girl was abducted allegedly by 6 men when she was returning home with her family members. The kidnappers came in a jeep and after raping her left her badly injured by the roadside the next day. Medical examination revealed brutal injuries to the lower part of her body. The assailants were caught after a few days. But they were all let off on bail.
