Delhi gangrape: Police files chargesheet

Delhi police has filed the charge sheet in Delhi court against five accused in the brutal December 16 gangrape-cum-murder of a 23- year-old paramedical student on a moving bus in Delhi. All the five accused have been chargesheeted for murder, gangrape, kidnapping, unnatural offences, dacoity, destruction of evidence and criminal conspiracy under IPC. A Saket court has begun hearing the case of the gang-rape and murder. The court has set January 5 as the next date for hearing. The sixth person arrested in the case has claimed that he is a minor. Thus, his case will be tried in Juvenile Justice Board.
