J&K: Encounter in Pulwama ends; 2 LeT militants killed - NewsX

A sad end to the year which had otherwise seen a dip in terror incidents and violence. Two terrorists were killed and two army personnel in the rank of Major and captain sustained injuries during the encounter in Pulwama in Kashmir. As many as 5 civilians also sustained injuries when a security officer of the injured major resorted to panic firing when a mob started pelting stones when the major was being rushed to the hospital. The two killed terrorists have been identified as Fahdullah Kashmiri and Khalid. Fahdullah Kashmiri is allegedly involved in many high profile attacks including one in Bijbehra where an attack on tourist cabs had left three tourists dead.
