India is not only not becoming safer for women, it is in fact slipping further and further on that scale. The decade between 2002 and 2011 has seen crimes against women rise phenomenally. So much so that when one takes a look at the percentage-wise breakup, it reflects that for every 2 rapes a decade ago, we have 3 today.
