Delhi gang rape: Police, protesters clash at India Gate - NewsX

Section 144 of the IPC has been imposed around India Gate and protestors were forcibly loaded into buses driven away this morning. Despite the prohibitory orders, protests are continuing. Five young protestors, who met Sonia Gandhi at her 10 Janpath residence today, have appealed for peaceful demonstrations. The government has assured them of quick action in the case of the medical student who was brutally gang-raped a week ago. Several political parties have also joined the protests.
