Tamil Nadu: 13-year-old raped, killed - NewsX

Even as protests against the gangrape of the 23-year-old continues, nationwide instances of rape continue to surface. Two persons have been held for the alleged rape and murder of a 13 year-old girl in Tuticorin district in Tamil Nadu. Police said that the body of the class seven student was found dumped in bush near a railway crossing on Friday. The girl used to go to a private school near Nazareth by local train and was reported missing on Wednesday after she did not return home.
