UP: Women gangraped in Raebareli - NewsX

In a similar such police apathy towards rape in Raebareli, a married woman besides being raped by two men had to undergo harassment at the hands of police. The victim was at her house in Manehru village when two men barged into her house and on gagging her raped her. But when the woman approached the Badokhar police station to lodge a complaint, she was detained at the station for a day. Subsequently, the police also dragged her sister-in-law to the station and reportedly took them to an undisclosed location and threatened them.
