After Mulayam Singh Yadav, there is trouble ahead for Uttar Pradesh's other stalwart, Mayawati. The CBI which is investigating the NRHM case, has summoned Mayawati's private secretary Navneet Sehgal for questioning in the matter. Sehgal was summoned after key witness in the case, Girish Malik deposed in a special CBI court earlier this month that he had paid Sehgal Rs 42 lakh as bribe for former UP Family and Welfare Minister Babu Lal Kushwaha at Mayawati's residence at 13 Mall Avenue in Lucknow. The scam figure covers around 4,000 crore rupees that were alleged to have been misappropriated as part of the National Rural Health Mission funds in Uttar Pradesh.
