Maharashtra: Radio blast injures 4 in Beed - NewsX

The Maharashtra Anti Terrorism Squad has launched a massive probe into a transistor radio explosion near Beed district in the state. The police said that 32 year old state transport bus conductor Om Nimbalkar on the Mumbai-Ambejogai bus brought home a transistor he found abandoned on the bus. He took the transistor home to his village in Kalegaon around 70 kilometres from Beed city. When he turned it on, the transistor exploded injuring himself, his wife, mother and his two year old son. The four were taken to the Swami Ramanandteerth Medical College and hospital in Ambejogai. They will be brought to Mumbai's JJ hospital. The Maharashtra Anti-terrorist squad and forensic teams are probing the case.
