The district administration on Tuesday raided the barracks of Jyoti murder case accused Piyush Shyam Dasani and Manisha Makhija in the district jail and reportedly seized pizza and burger wrappers besides other objectionable material. The raid was conducted by DM Roshan Jacob and SSP K S Emmanual on reports that both were enjoying outside food and other special facilities in the jail.

During raid, DM Roshan Jacob and SSP KS Emmanul learnt that Manisha and Piyush were availing "preferential treatment" in the jail. Jacob also inquired and secured confirmation from other inmates about VIP treatment to Manisha like special toilet facilities.
