BJP hits back at Rahul, says Congress should give up its arrogance
  • 5 years ago
Hitting back at Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi for saying that communal riots in Uttar Pradesh were executed deliberately, the Bharatiya Janata Party has said that he should think about the welfare of his own party.

"Rahul Gandhi should introspect and decide the direction of his own party. Congress should give up on its arrogance," senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said.
BJP leader Giriraj Singh too, echoed Naqvi's views and said, "I think Rahul Gandhi should not think that people are fool."

Indulging into a war of words, Congress, too, attacked the BJP saying that there are attempts being made to "push Uttar Pradesh into communal fire. We all know this," Congress leader Rashid Alvi asserted.

Rahul on Wednesday took charge in the Lok Sabha as he led his party's demand to discussion the Communal Violence Bill. He entered the well of the House in the Lok Sabha shouting slogans and demanding that the Bill be brought for discussion and passage.
