In this digital age of machine-made music, a unique music museum in Jaipur is a real eye opener. Abdul Aziz has put together a musical treasure house for posterity. His Naubat Baaja dates back close to a century. Members of the Aziz family down 5 generations have been court musicians of Jaipur's royals. The family book on musical instruments written in Urdu, details manufacture, playing instructions and maintenance procedure of each instruments. It not only reflects on our classical music heritage but also forces us to rethink on our rich past and what we can do to preserve it.
