Pia is not the only one, our children are being abused and assaulted in their classrooms. In the last 4 months itself, no less than 6 cases have been reported. In September alone there were two cases. A vice-principal beating up 3 students grievously for playing with a foam spray in Bengal. While a class X student died after he was forced to do 100 sit-ups in Hyderabad. In August a student's kidney was damaged after a teacher kicked him in his abdomen, while a teacher broke the nose of a 9-yr-old boy in Gurgaon for defeating him in a game of chess. In JULY a 14-yr-old boy was forced to drink urine by 3 teachers, while a girl was forced to drink her own urine at the Viswa Bharati university for bed wetting.
