Less than two months after she got married, differently-abled dancer of international fame Shubhreet Kaur Ghumman accused her husband of giving false information about his credentials before the marriage and "extorting" money in lakhs from her family.

Shubhreet came to be called the one-legged dancer after she stood third in the dance show, India's Got Talent on TV. However, the marriage, which was solemnized in Malerkotla in June, failed before it could be legally registered. She has not filed a police complaint yet and said she would do so after her scheduled performances in Delhi.
