Voting has come to an end in the Himachal Pradesh assembly election. The fate of 459 candidates in 68 constituencies is locked in EVMs. It's a battle over corruption and price rise between the BJP's Prem Kumar Dhumal and the Congress's Virbhadra Singh. Polling began on a dull note apparently due to cold weather conditions. But by 1 pm, 50% of the electorate had cast their votes. The electorate comprises 46.08 lakh voters. Counting of votes will take place on December 20.
