Today marks the end of the ten day celebrations of Dussehra which is being celebrated all over India with much pomp. Each region has its own tale and celebrations but Dussehra is celebrated all over largely to commemorate the triumph of good over evil. It is believed that it was on this day that Lord Ram killed the demon-king, Ravan signifying the triumph of good over evil.
