Punjab govt should introspect on attack on Lt Gen Brar: Shinde - NewsX

Dusting off any responsibility for the attack on Bluestar hero Lt General K S Brar, Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde has laid the responsibility of the attack on the Punjab government. Shinde said, the Punjab government should introspect on the attack. The comments follow Shinde's statement some days back saying that the building of the Bluestar memorial in Amritsar was the state government's responsibility. This comes in stark contrast to the active role the government had played in 1984 in sending the army into the golden temple. Only now, all these years later, it seems it is no longer the government's problem.
