SGPC honours Gen Vaidya's killers Sukha, Jinda - NewsX

Separatist flames of the Khalistani movement fanned by the SGPC in Punjab today with the killers of former Army Chief General A.S Vaidya honoured as martyrs at the Golden Temple. At a religious feast organised in the Golden Temple, the two assassins of General Vaidya- Harjinder Singh Jinda and Sukhdev Singh Sukha were hailed as martyrs and their families honoured by the Shiromani Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee. General Vaidya was the Chief of Army staff during Operation Blue Star in June 1984 and was assassinated by Jinda and Sukha in Pune, in 1986. They were later hung to death on the 9th of October, 1992, in Pune.
