UP: Dilapidated building functioning as school in Mirzapur - NewsX

It's a shocking state of affairs in Uttar Pradesh's Mirzapur district, where education is clearly a farce. This dilapidated building is supposed to be a government school, but its pathetic state makes us wonder how students can actually study there. Surrounding them are shocking sights of broken ceiling, walls, piles of broken bricks, even pieces of metal just lying around, posing a serious safety hazard. While a section of students have to bear their surroundings and are forced to study in the corridor, another batch of students are made to study in the middle of a crowded market place.
