Delhi Metro's Mandi House-Central Secretariat line opens

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) added yet another feather in its cap when the Central Secretariat to Mandi House route was thrown open to public on Thursday. Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu inaugurated the train from Mandi House station at 9:30 am.The section is the first line to be become operational under phase III of Delhi Metro, which when complete is expected to benefit 70,000 additional commuters.
