Govt plans to impose limit on wedding expenses - NewsX

If the government has its way, the big fat Indian wedding could soon be history. Union Minister for Child and women's welfare Krishna Tirath has revealed that the government has plans to impose a ceiling on what is spent at weddings. The minister says the move is aimed at checking ostentation and wasteful spending at weddings.
