NewsX brings you a ground report from Madhya Pradesh where villagers are standing in neck-deep water demanding justice. With 51 people staying immersed in water, for the 13th day today in what's being called a 'jal satyagraha', the Madhya Pradesh government has been forced to act. They have constituted a two member committee to look into the issue. The protesters are demanding compensation and rehabilitation for villagers whose homes will be submerged if the state government implements the order of opening all the gates of the Omkareshwar dam in Madhya Pradesh. With Narmada flowing above the danger levels, the government has little choice.
