Assam's situation has improved: Tarun Gogoi - NewsX

In an exclusive interview to NewsX Assam CM Tarun Gogoi said that the situation in Assam has improved. Four incidents of firing were reported from the Kokrajhar district in lower Assam on Monday night after unidentified gunmen opened the fire. The death toll over the last 40 days has gone up to 90... with lakhs of people displaced. The Centre asked local administration to form a coordination committee to restore peace in the violence-hit areas as early as possible.
