Denying reports of BJP's en masse resignation from the Lok Sabha, senior party leader Nitin Gadkari clarified today that they are not planning to resign from any committee. There were reports during the rounds in the morning that the BJP may pull out its members from all parliamentary committees, getting its members of Lok Sabha to quit and force early elections. This would have led to by-elections in case the BJP decides to leave the current Lok Sabha by leaving 114 seats vacant.
