As Delhi Police slapped fresh charges against former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda, who is accused of abetting the suicide of his former employee Geetika Sharma, his wife added a new twist to the scandal. She claimed that Geetika was like a daughter to Kanda and said that he was innocent. This is not the first time when a faithful wife has tried to shield her scandal-tainted husband. In the past we have seen SP Rathore's wife, Shiney Ahuja's wife, Hillary Clinton and Anne Sinclair defending their better-halves.
