PM Narendra Modi's first day at work, takes charge of PMO

After taking the oath in a grand ceremony, Narendra Modi took the charge as the 15th Prime Minister of India on May 27 morning. The 63-year-old leader neatly attired in beige colour Nehru jacket offered tribute to Mahatma Gandhi before taking the charge at PMO in South Block.Modi was received at South block office of the PMO by newly appointed Principal Secretary Nripendra Mishra and some other officials.
