Geetika suicide case: Gopal Kanda sent to 7-day police remand -- NewsX

Former Haryana Minister of State, Gopal Kanda has been produced in court where the Delhi Police has got for 7 day custody of the former minister. Gopal Goyal Kanda was accused of abetting the suicide of a former employee of his - Geetika Sharma. After being on the run for the last 11 days, Kanda made a dramatic surrender to the police early this morning. 23 year-old Geetika Sharma hanged herself on the 5th of August. Her suicide note named Gopal Kanda and accused him of harassing and mentally torturing her.
