Government defends itself against CAG reports - NewsX

The government will be defending itself against the claims of enormous losses made by the CAG on the Coal gate scam. Remember NewsX was first to break the story of the biggest loot that the nation has faced. The coal, civil aviation and power ministries have all put together their counter replies to the CAG report on the alleged scam. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh indicated that the government will effectively counter any Opposition attack on the issue. Asked how will the government counter the onslaught of the Opposition after the CAG report is tabled. Dr Singh said "We will do as well as we can."
