Soon after submitting his resignation, Nitish Kumar addressed media. Taking the charge of the defeat of his party, Kumar stated, " I take responsibility for the JDU's perfomance in Bihar. We did what our party stands for and will keep doing it, we will not go off the line like BJP did."Kumar further said, " We will analyse the results within the party and we have not asked for the dissolution of assembly. The results clearly showed that there was extereme polarisation."Explaining its next agenda, the former Bihar CM expressed, "We have left the doors open for any alternative government in Bihar. There was no threat to my government as far as numbers are concerned."JDU's legislative meet is scheduled for tomorrow to elect a new leader.
