Ally trouble dog Congress - NewsX

There seems to be no end to Congress's ally trouble, as the UPA continues to lurch from crisis to crisis. NCP leaders met at Sharad Pawar's residence earlier on Saturday, Even as Party leader, and former union civil aviation minister, Praful Patel made it clear that the party will remain with the UPA for the time being, but was withdrawing from the government, signs of heightened tensions continued to persist. According to sources, Sharad Pawar also paid a visit to recuperating Sena Leader Uddhav Thackeray, accompanied by Praful Patel. Later in the day, Patel again visited Thackeray. Both visits only added to Congress's discomfiture.
