U'Khand HC rejects murder convict Amarmani Tripathi's bail plea - NewsX

There is no reprieve for Samajwadi strongman, and U.P MLA Amarmani Tripathi. The Uttarakhand High Court has rejected the murder convict's bail plea, upholding the life sentence awarded by a Dehradun court in 2007. Amarmani, alongwith his wife Madhumani is accused of murdering Madhumita Shukla in 2003. Investigations had revealed that the poetess was pregnant when she was murdered.
