MHA to discuss Bijapur's CRPF- Naxal encounter - NewsX

Top security officials of the 9 Naxal-affected states and central paramilitary forces will attend a Home Ministry meeting on the Naxal menace in the capital today. It will be chaired by the Union Home Secretary. The meeting has been called in the wake of allegations that the June 29 encounter in the Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. The centre claims 17 Naxalites were killed by central paramilitary forces in that encounter.
