Sadanand Gowda reaches Raj Bhawan to submit his resignation as the Karnataka Chief Minister, accompanied by BJP's senior leader Rajnath Singh and Jagadish Shettar who is to be sworn in as CM on thrusday. Gowda proposed the name of Shettar, currently Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister, and it was seconded by former Chief Minister and Lingayat strongman B S Yeddyurappa and state unit chief K S Eshwarappa.
