The Time magazine's criticism of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's performance on Monday led to a political slugfest with BJP blaming Sonia Gandhi for giving political authority to Manmohan Singh and Congress targeting Atal Behari Vajpayee. The controversy started over the recent issue of Time magazine dubbing Singh as an "underachiever", which prompted BJP to hit out at the Congress President who is also UPA chairperson.
