IPL sting operation: BCCI panel meets to discuss Sawani's report - NewsX

The BCCI's disciplinary committee, headed by its president N Srinivasan, will meet on Saturday to discuss the report submitted by Ravi Sawani on the corruption allegations against five uncapped Indian players named in a television sting operation last month. Mohnish Mishra, Shalabh Srivastava, TP Sudhindra, Amit Yadav and Abhinav Bali were banned by the BCCI on May 15, pending inquiry after a television sting operation claimed that they agreed to shadowy deals in the Indian Premier League and other matches. All the five players will be present on Saturday to present their points of view before the panel whose other members are Board vice-presidents Arun Jaitely and Niranjan Shah, sources in the BCCI said.
