Sarabjit Singh's sister Dalbir Kaur who has been spearheading efforts to secure Sarabjit Singh's release said she had cross-checked with Sarabjit's lawyer on Tuesday. Dalbir Kaur says Sarabjit's name featured in the list of prisoners to be released and Sarabjit's lawyer in Pakistan had himself confirmed this. Sarabjit Singh's family, who had earlier expressed joy over his release, said they were disappointed and shocked over this mix-up, but hoped that Sarabjit Singh would also be pardoned by President Zardari.
