The Congress is taking a safe approach on Singur judgement, Law Minister Salman Khurshid in an interview said that the judgement should not be seen as a victory or defeat.The Calcutta high court on Friday scrapped a state government legislation providing for return of 400 acres of land to unwilling farmers who had given their holding for Tata Motors' Nano car project at Singur in Hooghly district. The Singur Land Rehabilitation and Development Act that aimed at taking over and returning part of the 997-acre Nano plot to unwilling farmers is unconstitutional, declared a division bench of Calcutta high court, comprising justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose and justice Mrinal Kanti Chaudhuri.
