Election 2014: Sonia attacks on Maneka Gandhi in Aonla rally

The Gandhi versus Gandhi proxy war is all set to spread its wings outside Pilibhit as well. In what is likely to be Sonia Gandhi's indirect response to Maneka Gandhi's assault on Amethi, the Congress president is expected to highlight the lack of development in Aonla, Maneka's parliamentary constituency for the past five years.

Sonia Gandhi, Rahul and Priyanka have never once campaigned in Aonla since 2009 - the year when estranged sister-in-law Maneka took over the constituency's reins and handed over Pilibhit to son Varun.
