Imran Masood out on bail, denies giving hate speech against Modi

Congress leader Imran Masood, denied knowledge of giving provocative speech against BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi after he was released on bail. A court in Uttar Pradesh remanded Masood, to 14-day judicial custody on Saturday after police arrested him for publicly threatening to murder Modi, post an FIR filed against him accused him of violating the election code of conduct. A criminal case was also registered against Masood, who is Congress party candidate from Saharanpur, after a video of him threatening Modi went viral on the web.
