In April the Supreme Court allowed Pakistani prisoner Khalil Chisti to visit his country. Now India hopes to see a matching gesture from Pakistan. The Pakistan govt seems to have mellowed its stand. It has allowed the counsel of Sarabjit Singh, the Indian languishing in Pakistani jail, to meet him in jail. The counsel is also all set to meet Sarabjit today under tight security arrangement. The meeting took place in the presence of sleuths of counter terrorism department of Pakistan's Punjab govt, Awais Sheikh, counsel of Sarabjit Singh confirmed to reporters that the Punjab Pak govt had accorded him permission to meet Sarabjit Singh in Central Jail, Kot Lakhpat in Lahore on May 28.
