IPL Match-fixing: In a day of protracted courtroom exchanges, the Supreme Court on Thursday barred franchises Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings to participate in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL).

The court has also asked legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar to take over BCCI's reins in the interim, even as media reports claim N Srinivasan has offered to quit. The hearing will resume on Friday at 10:30 AM.
