Good News: Surrendered militant benefits from J&K's rehabilitation policy - NewsX

Here's a Good News story that should make you feel reassured that one can turn around a life that's on a wrong path and begin a dignified life. Abdul Rashid Dar, a surrendered militant is a perfect example of how rehabilitation measures can be put to good use. Rashid's wife and their two kids are too back with him. Abdul Rashid Dar took a huge challenge. It was a chance he took to return home to Kashmir, holding on to the Jammu and Kashmir govt's rehabilitation policy for militants. And he is genuinely happy today as he sits in his home state, amongst his own people. But it wasn't really a gamble ... Life was terrible in PoK and the govt was offering him safe passage home.
