School peon rapes Class 3 student in school premises

A peon of a government school raped an eight-year-old student within the premises in northeast Delhi's Seelampur on Wednesday.
Police said the peon threatened the Class 3 student that he would kill her if she resisted him.
The crime took place a day before the Delhi High Court upheld the death sentence awarded to the four convicts in the brutal December 16 gang rape and murder case.
A case of rape under relevant provisions of the IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, has been registered at the Seelampur police station. The accused was arrested on Thursday evening but the police have refused to divulge his name, saying their investigation was not yet over.
