India not in any arms race: DRDO chief - NewsX

India has emerged as a major missile power with the successful launch of Agni V ballistic missile and the production of the weapon system would start in a year's time. DRDO chief VK Saraswat says that by successfully launching AGNI 5, India has given a firm message to the world that India has the capability to design, develop, built and manufactures missiles of this class and that INDIA is today a MISSILE power. The biggest takeaway of the entire story is that India now asserts its position on developing the programme further and a decision to not Cap it at all.
