Fishermen's family has agreed for an out of court settlement, Victim's counsel says they will withdraw cases against marines after getting the compensation of 1 crore. But, the Kerala Chief Minister has said that there is no question of an out of court settlement, he says there is no provision for a settlement in a criminal case.
