Suspected terrorist kills ASI in Srinagar-NewsX

An Assistant Sub-Inspector was killed in Srinagar today after a suspected terrorist shot him from a point blank range after fleeing. The ASI Sukhpal Singh who suffered severe bullet injuries succumbed later at the hospital. No separatist group has claimed responsibility for the killing till now. It may be noted that with mountain passes reopening as spring begins, security sources have been put on high alert to thwart any kind of infiltration into the Kashmir valley.
