Odisha govt has given in to pressure from the Maoists. Odisha govt has agreed to withdraw cases against 13 Maoist prisoners. But this knee jerk reaction from the Odisha govt did not come till a threat from Naxals sent shockwaves. When Odisha govt did not take any decision till the 5 pm deadline on Wednesday, Naxals declared that they will not extend the deadline. Naxals also threatened to decide the fate of BJD MLA Jhina Hikaka in the Naxals court. This is when Odisha govt suddenly started moving and indicated that the govt could release 13 Naxals.
