Mayawati seems to be crying wolf over a threat to her statues and parks across Uttar Pradesh. She's warned Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav not to risk endangering the state's law and order situation by altering or dismantling them, but Akhilesh is standing his ground. The statues may be safe but that's not necessarily the case with the acres of parkland used by Mayawati.
